Bryan Welsh, most recently GM for the Pepsi-Starbucks North American Coffee Partnership, has been tapped as GM of SodaStream USA. PepsiCo purchased the maker of at-home sparkling water appliances on Dec. 5. Welsh will report to SodaStream CEO Daniel Birnbaum, who continues to run the company following the acquisition.
PepsiCo North America CEO Al Carey will retire in March after almost 40 years at the company. He has been a PepsiCo stalwart and key operational strategist in both snacks and beverages. Kirk Tanner will become CEO of PepsiCo North America Beverages.
